The VIRGIN ISLANDS FARMERS ALLIANCE, Inc. (VIFA) is a farmer-run domestic non-profit organization for over 100 members across the US Virgin Islands.
The purpose of VIFA is to be an inclusive voice and educational resource on behalf of professional farmers and for future farmers of the Virgin Islands.

Members are:
- Farmers – Farmers include men and women who engage in the act of farming to cultivate and produce vegetables, livestock, honey, fiber, and/or medicines within the Virgin Islands as a part of their primary income on an annual basis. Farmer members must have at least one full year of farming experience and a current/valid USVI farmer’s license and/or evidence of currently working for a licensed farm in the USVI for over 1 calendar year. Only farmer members may vote in official VIFA proceedings
- Farm Family – Includes immediate family (by blood or marriage) of active Farmer members.
- Rising Farmers – New/aspiring farmers who currently have less than one year of farming experience and/or do not have a current VI Farmers License.
- Farm Friends – This category may include but is not limited to, farm supporters, retail & wholesale customers, advocates, ambassadors, government employees, university agriculture extension members, non-profit workers, grant writers, and all others with an interest in agriculture.
